The prequel is written by current 2000AD editor Matt Smith and drawn by the wonderful Henry Flint, with colors by Chris Blythe; the great cover art comes from Greg Staples. Dredd 3D opens in US theaters September 21.

Megacity One citizens using modern swear words? That's just wrong.

September 06 2012 at 12:57 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyJean Valjean? Don't you mean Javert?
September 19 2012 at 8:58 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWow. That was grim and horrible and utterly humourless, the humour being the one usual saving grace of Dredd that stops the relentless pain and despair of the story overwhelming the reader. I was all stoked for the film but if it's as straight-faced and miserable as this I think I'd rather skip it.
