You know... I would much rather read this version of BG than the current Nu52 version.

I'd like to see it, if Watson can get it actually made, (but I see more of a show that would be on PBS for some odd reason...).
I actually like the idea of it being a kids show. You'd get an exciting adventure, but also almost without realizing it, you'd learn something about phosphate, or history, or how the sewers work or something

And I think this would be perfect for DC digitial comics initiative, I'd certainly prefer it over the uncomfortably fetishistic Ame-Comi stuff.
Very cute idea! Although for some reason I really wouldn't want her to face traditional villains. I'd rather it be "ordinary" criminals.

September 05 2012 at 1:05 PM Report abuse Permalink -1 rate up rate down ReplyWell, he certainly is depicted in a very different manner than what I am used to seeing him as.
He's not bad, but he doesn't seem very much like my idealized "Commissioner Gordon" to me. :/
Well I figured he was changed to fit the mood of the story. It's about Batgirl, he's just a supporting character and the children that this would be targeting don't have twenty years of reference to contrast against. He's a character that would be used for a specific purpose within that story. He doesn't need to be recognizable as the Gordon from the comics, he just needs to be Barbara's cop dad.
