I could see it. Joss would eat this up and play it similar to how he handled Fred/Illyria in Angel. Some scientist (Pym? Other?) decides to "honor" Coulson by putting his face on an android, but the team is constantly reminded that it's not ACTUALLY him, and of their failure to save him. Total Whedon material...

This leaves room for the Human Torch to have existed, and the Human Torch is remade into Vision...
Makes him look ridiculously old.

August 18 2012 at 3:27 PM Report abuse Permalink -3 rate up rate down ReplyCoulson is the heart of the whole movie series. He's the glue. If you went in just watching a superhero movie with Iron Man or Hulk, you're missing a GIANT part of the story.
He's the humanity in a world of chaos.
I feel sorry if you didn't get that. Stick with Expendables movies, I guess.
Please don't slander the Expendables crowd by lumping us in with everyone you think is an idiot.

but i think he makes a great lookin' vision.
SHIELD agents have "back-ups" of their personalities stored away just in case..Pym's experimental synthetiod was missing that one crucial element, and with the team incapacitated, Fury had one option left to stop Ultron ....(do better, WITHOUT magic and we'll be pals.)

August 18 2012 at 11:51 AM Report abuse Permalink -3 rate up rate down ReplyThis is cool, but I thought everyone went ape over this character because he was basically the one "Everyman" in these movies. So do you really want to take him and turn him into a super powered android called Vision? Completely removing what everyone liked about him in the first place?
I have a feeling the fans have no real idea what they actually want.
I think they just want the guy in the movies, regardless of who he plays
