SPOILER WARNING, obviously.

That reminds me of the debacle with the action figures from the Sixth Sense. Bruce Willis' character came with a tombstone.

August 04 2012 at 7:38 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyHowdy! I thought the ending where Alfred saw Bruce at the cafe was a dream sequence and not reality.
August 04 2012 at 6:51 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyUh, okay. But was it also a dream when Fox found out Wayne fixed the autopilot six months ago? And when Gordon found the bat-signal had been repaired? And when Blake was left a bag with directions to the batcave?
I can understand thinking the movie would be better if Batman really died (even though I disagree). But I just don't think Nolan left much room for ambiguity, nor do I think he meant to.
If only Alfred spun a top, we would have known for sure.

everyone needs to chill out with their pseudo plot hole complaints. jeez, enjoy the end of one of the greatest super hero franchises ever.
This is hilariously awesome.
August 04 2012 at 10:10 AM Report abuse Permalink +3 rate up rate down ReplyI don't think this was used in the movie. It's just a toy. There is lots of ridiculous Dark Knight Rises toys that don't apply to the movie.
You guys are all so funny. He had the auto pilot fixed. Either one of to thing happened in my opinion. He got out before he left the city. Or there is an eject similar to the bat pod and went underwater.
okaay.. so he got out at the last second in a bat-glider.... and it was fast enough to escape the blast, heat and radiation of a nuclear bomb?.. yeah, right.
sorry, the only thing "rising" in this movie were plot holes left and right.
When has a little nuclear blast ever stopped THE Batman from plotting an escape? What'd be pretty neat actually is if an eventual (fingers crossed) Justice League movie has Bruce calling up one of his future colleuges (Lantern, Supes) who swoop him up.
August 06 2012 at 9:11 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyRemember on JLU when bats took a nuke to save Supes?
