I can understand wanting something that will withstand the fights Supes gets into. I really do. But... that looks like chainmail. So, we either have some really coarse looking ultra-heat retaining fabric, or a suit of metal rings. One would be stupidly hot to wear, and the other would be so noisy it would be too distracting. Either way, it NEEDS a revamp. My vote is to go the Nolan route. Kevlar is strong enough to work, and thin enough to not look stupid. Kevlar: Life's real MacGuffin.

July 18 2012 at 10:58 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyAs the new storyline in the New 52 is that he wears Kryptonian armor as a conncetion to his home this seems fitting.

July 17 2012 at 10:59 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyMakes sense. Supes' suit is made of office chairs (he's a reporter and works in an office), just like Spidey's suit is made out of basketballs (he's a teenager, and... uh... people plays basket ball in highschool... right?).

Problem is (ant that's the point the industry may be missing), an HD world isn't a funny and entertaining world, necessarily. :-(
