That costume is truly appalling.

He wears sneakers because, wtf , who knows. .. this costume is weird, the city if totally off-model, but the game itself is REALLY fun.
It borrows heavily from Arkham Asylum gameplay, even including stealth as a major component in the game. More fun than it sounds though, hard not to play as Spidey without a massive smile on my face.
Yeah, I mean, how dare it try to focus on the slender physique of the actor and thus point out the stylised acrobatics the character performs! It's almost like they thought about how to translate it to the screen, the bastards!

Spoilers all over the place though, so if you are worried about that see the movie first. My only complaint so far is I am extremely disappointed with the New York City in this game, I was looking forward to web-slinging all over town but its not even a close approximation, apparently there is no Natural History Museum in Spider-Man, but there IS a giant factory in the middle of the Upper West Side, wtf. Hells Kitchen, where another Marvel Super Hero usually hangs out, non existent. thats a minor gripe though, this game is super fun so far.
No Natural History Museum? That was the only reason I was going to purchase this thing. Oh well.

I do like the look of the game though, even if it doesn't look to have the acclaimed Spider-Man 2 webswinging mechanics.
