April 19 2012 at 11:04 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyMeredith Gran writing and illustrating Marceline, Ryan North writing Adventure Time, can we get Jeph Jacques on the Jake the Dog miniseries, Randy Mulholland on the Ice Wizard, and David Willis on, I dunno, Trunks?
In case it's not clear, I'm serious. I want to see all those things.
Marceline puts all of Marvel and DC's heroines to shame.

April 17 2012 at 10:13 AM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down ReplyThat does look pretty awesome.
I wonder if it will add to the... discussion surrounding Marceline and her past experiences with the Princess?
Ryan North seems to be treating the concept sort of coyly in the first couple issues of the Adventure Time comic. My guess is that the guiding principle is something like "the subtext is certainly there if you want to see it"
