One look in the trolley tells you that Dr Pepper has some cross-promotional deal as well.

April 03 2012 at 1:47 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyRemember when you would pretend to be Hawkeye with the nerf bow and arrow?
Yeah, me neither
Ha! Awesome! That's exactly what it was like in my head when I was a little kid!
@ykarps ugh...why????...but good point about him being technically War Machine
Are the voice actors for when they're in "Avenger mode" the same ones from Earth's Mightiest Heroes? It sure sounds like them, but I can't hear them long enough to be sure.

April 03 2012 at 11:33 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThat was super adorable! I kinda want to complain about the black kid being hidden away behind the Iron Man mask, but I can't tell if it's because I think it's another example of racial bias in advertising, or because if you put a black kid in Iron Man armor that technically makes him War Machine.
Comics fandom is a weird place.
You do realize that Rhodes took over as Ironman from 1983 - 85 ( vol 1 170 - vol 1 199) as a result of Tony Stark falling off the wagon. Also, the War Machine suit wasn't even built until 1992!
