'Adventure Time' #5 Gets Paul Pope Backup, Covers by Kochalka, Krahulik and More [Art]

When it comes to recruiting dope creators for Adventure Time art, Boom! Studios has been on a roll since its debut issue. Be it indie creators, webcomics talent or folks who work on Cartoon Network's AT series, each month yields a few fun surprises to look at alongside that of the regular series creative team of writer Ryan North and artists Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb. June's Adventure Time #5 will keep this trend going with a backup story by Paul Pope, plus variant covers by Chris Houghton (Reed Gunther), Eleanor Davis (The Secret Science Alliance), James Kochalka (American Elf, Super F*ckers) and -- as seen on Penny Arcade awhile back -- Mike Krahulik. Pope's contribution to the issue is still in the pipeline, but you can peep all four covers to Adventure Time #5 after the cut.
