Debuting at IDW after the publisher's first Infestation
crossover had come to a close, it might be said that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles got lucky. They were, after all, able to skip attacks from hordes of dimension-hopping robots and zombies. However fortunate that might have been, the team's luck runs out in this week's Infestation 2: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 (of 2)
, part of a crossover event that pits the casts of IDW's G.I. Joe
, Danger Girl
, 30 Days of Night
and Dungeons & Dragons
books against Lovecraftian monsters. Written by Tristan Jones with art by Mark Torres, the 32-page issue will confront the brothers and their Master Splinter with subterranean horrors that have awakened in a dark corner of the very sewers they call home. Preview the first seven pages of Infestation 2: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
#1 after the jump to see what's in store for the TMNT.
From IDW's official solicitation info:
The sewers of NYC have always been home to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... but what else has been nesting in the deep dark? A series of strange occurrences leads the Turtles into long forgotten tunnels. What they find there should have been left alone, for as light fades ands wall narrow-bone chilling terror awaits!
