Lego Reveals More 'Lord of the Rings' Minifigs Including Gollum and Other Foes

Is it possible to just buy the minifigures? Because honestly I no longer have the time or the patience to put together a Lego set, but I wouldn't mind having Lego Gimli fighting some Lego orcs on my (sadly non-Lego) desk at work.

Why the **** is this even here? Are you really that desperate for hits?
Its still really weird to me how excited people are for these and for branded Legos in the first place. When I was a kid all the legos we had were neat playsets where you really felt you had a degree of choice with the bulding and the minifigs were so plain you customize them easily. The whole point of legos was to make something unique and creative for yourself with the stuff the generic sets like space and underwater sets provided. I feel like the whole sense of making something of your own and sense of creativity is thrown out the window with the branded sets, getting away from the original purpose of lego.
These are the only type of sets I see at wal mart and targets now too. Yeah you can still order the more technical sets elsewhere but the fact that most major toy sections of place are only carrying the branded stuff is sad, as tons of kids are not getting to experience the whole point of lego anymore.
I cannot wait for the game! This is the Lego series I have been waiting for.
