'Adventure Time' Comic Series Coming From Boom! in February

Frederator Studios' wiggly Cartoon Network hit Adventure Time is coming to comics this February with a new ongoing series from Boom! Studios' all-ages Kaboom! imprint. Written by Dinosaur Comics creator Ryan North, with art by Shelli Paroline (MICE, Muppet Snow White), Braden Lamb and covers by Paroline and others, the new book adapts the animated series about a boy, his dog and their journeys in the Land of Ooo. The first issue will contain 32 pages, with a $3.99 price tag.

It's Adventure Time! Join Finn the Human, Jake the Dog, and Princess Bubblegum for all-new adventures through The Land of Ooo. The top-rated Cartoon Network show now has its own comic book!

are these comics totaly diffrent adventures or are they based on the cartoon episodes? I hope its based on the cartoons tht way i dnt have to keep up with both the episodes and the comics xD

Oh my Glob you guys, this looks flippin' amazing! Seriously though, hope they capture the spirit of the show as it would be easy to get wrong. It's kind of hard to put into words what the show is doing so well.
