As announced earlier this month at New York Comic Con, the pop culture parody show Robot Chicken will make the heroes of DC Comics the focus of an upcoming animated special in the tradition of its very popular Star Wars skewerings. Adult Swim released on Monday our first look at the show with a clip starring Green Lantern Hal Jordan and his classic villain Sinestro. The video, which you can see after the cut, indicates that the Robot Chicken produces have a deep affection for the stories and characters of the modern DC Universe, as almost right away one of the characters is relieved of his hands in extremely bloody fashion.



Robot Chicken's DC Comics Summer Special will premiere in 2012.
