New York Comic Con 2011 was, as always, many things to many people, but for a young man by the name of Marq Romero, it was one of the biggest weekends of his life. Romero's a big fan of conventions, it seems, and he found a love who shared his passion. Naturally, he did what any awesome dude would do and took NYCC as an opportunity to propose to his special someone while dressed as Pokémon protagonist Ash Ketchum in the middle of a dancing cosplayer flashmob. Romero even snuck his proposed engagement ring inside a shiny pokéball. As CA's lone representative in the realm of married nerdery, I wholeheartedly approve.
