ComiXology users have had access to collected editions of a given ongoing series' storylines (or "digital trade paperbacks") from independent publishers for awhile, but there's been a distinct gripe among users that the Big Two haven't followed suit. It looks like things are starting to change on the Marvel side of the fence, however, as the publisher has released ten new digital collections on its standalone iOS apps.

Here's a list of current offerings and prices, which break down to cost about a dollar less than they would at $1.99 per issue:

-Ultimates Vol. 1: Super-Human (6 issues for $10.99)

Though the discount doesn't seem too substantial upon first look, prices for many of these particular titles line up pretty closely with their print counterparts at online retailers like Amazon. Depending on whether readers would rather take a chance and wait to see if their desired reading material pops up during one of Marvel's weekly $0.99 sales, this is likely the best deal they'll be getting on these particular stories in digital format for the time being.
