Marvel Comics released this week a series of handsome teaser images in support of something we think is probably called The Forgiven. These cool-looking characters are presumably brand new, or perhaps new versions of familiar heroes or villains, and each comes with an appropriately ominous quote that will no doubt make more sense in September, as the copy indicates. Marvel has become C.I.A.-level good at being elusive and cryptic with this kind of material that we quite honestly find ourselves at a loss for further words -- which is of course all part of their plan to drive us insane trying to come up with ways to fill space so it doesn't look like we just dropped some art and called it a post. How do you think we're doing so far?
