I just like that in that order, the highlighted words in the reveal posters read "RESPONSIBILITY NOT CRACK." That's an important lesson, kids.

August 18 2011 at 10:51 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyNo one really cares about Marvel's vampires anymore, and Dracula has become laughable ever since he started cosplaying as Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII.
August 18 2011 at 9:55 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replyreally Marvel? REALLY?
MORE vampires? let an undead horse lie
The question should who cares about the forgiven. Seriously all this vampire stuff makes my head hurt. It makes me want to invent a time machine to make sure Twilight never existed so idiot crazy never happens.

The tone and themes of the two a very different. I don't think having a charcater that looks like Sabretooth is going to attract twilight fans to the Marvel brand. A better analogy to mock this would be equating it to Vampire: The Masquerade ;)
I, personally, enjoy Marvel's desire to push the vampire corner of their world. I'm not a fan of the new look of Dracula, but c'est la vie. Additionally, I wouldn't be surprised if the Vampire push is being given because of Victor Gischler being in Marvel's stable. The man wrote his most high profile novels about apocalyptic vampire worlds. His name is on, too, almost 100% of the new vampire works Marvel's put out since the great Paul Cornell story in Captain Britain. This seems to be Gischler's big project in the company and I'm sure he must have given a hell of a pitch to Axel Alonso to do this, if Alonso didn't suggest he do it before that. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Victor was offered the role of reshaping Marvel's vampire corner in order to sign on exclusively with them.
I wasn't equaling it to twilight but it was more that the movement that lead to Vampire stuff is Twilight's fault.
It would be one thing just to bring Dracula back and have vampires is one thing but the whole vampires with x-men. Thing with Jublie and now dracula fighting the Hulk. I'm just not liking what they are doing with the characters.
he sure hasn't produced anything worthwhile using them so far. Curse of the Mutants and his X-Men title in general have been pretty forgettable.

August 18 2011 at 2:53 PM Report abuse Permalink +3 rate up rate down ReplyI immediately assumed the first one was Oya from Generation Hope. Looks just like her, plus she is tied heavily into Schism where she is regretfully embraced her power for the first time. Too bad I realized she is too young for for a leadership storyline...
August 18 2011 at 2:45 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyFrenzy, Silver Samurai and Marko Cain
August 18 2011 at 2:15 PM Report abuse Permalink +1 rate up rate down ReplyAnd a final bit of speculation: Theres two other images not included with these that look a lot like Chamber and Blink. Maybe a new X-Men & Vampires Gischler book?
August 18 2011 at 1:59 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replywouldn't that make her Jubilee then? yknow. considering she's already a vampire?
