As much as San Diego's Comic-Con International is about stuff -- which is to say, comic books, graphic novels, video games, films, toys, collectibles and alcohol -- the world's largest pop culture convention is also about cosplay. It's hard to remember that just a few short years ago, cosplayers were synonymous with the infamous and much maligned "Tron guy," but prodigious, fashion-conscious fans have truly elevated the hobby into something that's a celebrated creative expression in and of itself.
