If you spent any time catching cartoons after school in the '90s, chances are you took in at least a portion of Disney's 2-hour block of syndicated animation known as the
Disney Afternoon. As demonstrated by the resurgence of
DuckTales,
Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers and
Darkwing Duck at Boom! Studios' Kaboom! imprint, nostalgia is especially ripe for fans of DA's talking animals.
DeviantArtist E. D. Thweatt has taken Disney's anthropomorphism process one step further and envisioned the casts of many Disney Afternoon shows as full-on humans. See Uncle Scrooge, Launchpad, Chip, Dale, Gadget, Baloo and more recast as people after the jump.
Thweatt's managed to convert nearly 20 animated icons into easily recognizable humans. Fortunately for little eyes across the internet, the artist had the uncommon decency to put pants on the characters
who skipped out on fuller coverings in their animal forms.
