I'm feeling a Van Partible (Johnny Bravo) vibe stylistically with this piece. Would have been an odd yet crazy crossover between the two shows. Awesome drawing.

If this were really made back in the day, I'm thinking Scatman Crothers voicing Daniels, Micky Dolenz as McNulty and Paul Lynde as Prezbo the Dog. Is there anywhere I can get a cartoon Bunk Moreland "action" figure (with removable cigar)?

Thanks all!
That is just phenomenal.
Somehow, Animated Bunk looks more real than the actual Bunk to me. His expression and posture are just perfect.
Got me on that one, and that is being speedily rectified, Jeremy. I've been thinking of doing an update based on all the new knowledge I have on the show now, so maybe you'll see something with some of the details you mention. Still appreciate the good words, though. And I did know about heroin, so in retrospect the title could have been "Smack! Shot! Jackpot!"

1. The drug dealers on the show deal in heroin, not crack or pot, and
2. Any actual viewer of the show would have included Omar, aka the greatest character in TV history.
*rubs eyes, making Hanna-Barbera squeaky-noise* ...and is that Prezbo as a dog?!

FOR REAL
CJ: Those are both acceptable responses; Ellis' REMAKE challenges are meant to evoke the sacred AND profane from the artists that do them. : )
