I liked Ed Brubaker's run on Batman more than Rucka's. He (Rucka) focused on everyone but Batman, it was more like "Detective Comics starring Sasha Bordeaux" near the end.

All of them are outstanding, but that one is damn near iconic in my opinion.

April 21 2011 at 2:41 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI remain pretty shocked that so much of Rucka and Brubaker's Batman comics remain uncollected. Ignoring "Officer Down," "Joker's Last Laugh" and the "Bruce Wayne: Murderer" arcs, there's gotta be about a year's worth each of uncollected Rucka/Martinborough and Brubaker/McDaniel stuff .

It's been years since I've gone through them and this made me want to pull out the old C-D comic box and sit down with them all over again.
