Seeing as how the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda hitting shelves had us all misty-eyed this week, and this wonderful artist named Kristin Palach has a body of artwork that encompasses Link getting chased by a flock of chickens as well as Batman walking a singing pug, we deemed the post you're now reading to be downright necessary.

Palach sketches like there's no tomorrow on her personal blog, whether she's tackling Daphne from Scooby-Doo, the Punisher in drag as a Sailor Moon Sailor Scout or forming a band out of Booster Gold, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman and Blue Beetle. Many people would probably like to read a comic book about just such a band, but since that series doesn't exist yet, her art will have to tide you over.

Meanwhile, if you've had a bad day, take a deep breath and exhale below while looking at Hellboy playing with a pile of kittens. It's good for the soul.
