Following an unresolved close encounter with gnome-kind, fans of Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent have been yearning to return to Scoggins, Min and get to the bottom of the town's, well, puzzles. This summer, roughly a year from its initial Puzzle Agent offering, Telltale Games is slated to serve up a proper sequel to Graham Annable's multiplatform adventure. As with its predecessor, Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent 2 will be ported to PC, Mac, iPhone and the iPad. The official PA2 web site doesn't currently list Wii Ware as a potential venue for players to pick it up, but it's always a possibility down the road.

I was a big fan of the first Puzzle Agent game, although I admit the game's somewhat abrupt ending left me wanting. Knowing the episodic format many of Telltale Games's series follow, I should have expected a sequel to tie the adventures of the leader of the FBI's Puzzle Research Division together.
