We ran the infographic, but after it was pointed out that there were errors in the piece and that at least some of the art work was taken without permission from DeviantArt artist pages, we have removed this post. Nice work, except for Optimus Prime. Michael Bay's idiotic Transformers movie version is where Optimus became a lame long-nose cab with flames. In the ORIGINAL Generation One cartoon, Optimus Prime was a square cab similar to the older big rigs. Way cooler than Bay's Lameformers movies.

I wouldn't go as far as that. While this article is pretty ropey, it was only ever a bit of trivial fun, and I'm certain anything more substantial would be vetted more thoroughly before it gets put up.
