There is nothing in superhero comics that fuels a massive nerd chat like X-Men continuity. Years of everlasting subplots, flashbacks, alternate realities, time travel and retcons have given fans of Marvel's mutants enough material to discuss and debate until the end of this universe. Indeed, making sense of the X-Men is a big part of enjoying the X-Men, as graphic designer Joe Stone demonstrates in a brilliant new infographic tracing the familial, sexual and clonal relationships of your favorite mutants. Naturally, even this prodigious chart has left some characters out (Nate Grey!), but as Stone wrote on his blog, "I had to draw the line somewhere."
