It's not like there was any doubt before, but it can't hurt to say again that the best/craziest
Scott Pilgrim fans are those from Toronto, the setting of Bryan Lee O'Malley's canonized indie comics opus. Locations familiar to many Torontonians appear throughout the six-volume Oni Press graphic novel series, perhaps none more memorable than the terrifyingly long stairwell where Evil Ex-Boyfriend Lucas Lee meets his skaterly demise. In the best memorial for a comic book character since someone left a set of kicky go-go boots on the George Washington Bridge, a clever fan has left behind what's become known as the
Ghost Board of Lucas Lee.
As part of a featurette created for
Last Call with Carson Daly,
Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O'Malley and
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World director Edgar Wright visit the Ghost Board, as well as a number of other Toronto locations integral to the slacker saga. You can see it after the jump.
