Waking up on Earth after years of space stasis would be pretty weird, but it's nice to see Kara Zor-El has the sense not to totally freak out and run around in nothing but a trench coat blowing up cop cars in the latest "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" animated trailer entitled "Run." Oh... wait. Scratch that. She totally does all of those things!

Replicating the "Terminatorish" awakening scene from Jeph Loeb and Michael Turner's "The Supergirl From Krypton" storyline in DC's "Superman/Batman" series, "Run" sees the panicked Supergirl starting Earth life on the wrong foot. You'd think even animated DCU police would be used to naked girls inexplicably taking flight after destroying law enforcement vehicles, but it looks like these particularly trigger-happy cops in this film would rather open fire on a teenager than talk things out. We'll see how it all works out for everybody for sure on September 28, when the animated feature arrives in stores.
