I just loved that little seahorse, so wicked and funny.

I personally loved that brooding, no-nonsense incarnation.
In the Justice League cartoon, he did this, both to save his baby son and to show just how BADASS he was.
In the comic, his hand got stuck in a piranha tank by a bad guy who wanted a display of his telepathic powers - even though apparently Aquaman doesn't COMMAND sea life, so much as request their help, but piranhas are just nasty little bastards who don't take orders.
These guys have to do this with Supergirl!

August 17 2010 at 12:28 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThe sad part of all this is every editor and every (and I mean EVERY) creative team comes on the book thinks that changing a characters costume, name, origin, back story, etc will spur sales and make the character a hit. How about this? Try doing a well written, well drawn Aquaman series!!! The problem with Aquaman or Wonder Woman or Flash or Spider-man or Daredevil isn't their origin or back story or costume. It's that the comics that are being produced suck and have become unreadable.

WHY DO YOU HATE EVERYONE UNDER FORTY, DC EDITORIAL!?
Because everyone in DC Editorial is over 40. (zing!)
