Who would you guys pair up with... RUSH?

The text says Batman meets up with Lemmy, Mikkey Dee and Phil Campbell but the image appears to show the classic Motorhead line up of Lemmy, "Fast Eddie" Clarke and "Philthy Animal" Taylor." Also, the cover has a 12 cent Silver Age price implying it is pre 1970. Motorhead did not become a band until 1975. However, I am certain there is a logical explanation for all of these. Can any offer some possibilities?

Punk is nothing but death and crime and the rage of a beast!
Awesome that Lemmy is thrusting his crotch out. In issue 2, can Batman fight his new ally when Lemmy becomes... Orgasmatron?!?!

August 04 2010 at 8:13 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyMicheal Moorcock actually did write a few stories where Lemmy and Hawkwind battled demons or hung out with Jimi Hendrix's ghost
August 04 2010 at 7:43 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyDollars to donuts the culprit was a spurned "Fast" Eddy Clarke. :P
August 04 2010 at 7:22 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyMeh. Batman totally would have gone with Sabbath. Geezer Butler and Bill Ward will hit you so hard they break a bone.
August 04 2010 at 6:36 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyDo we have the MST3K classic "Zombie Nightmare" to thank for this?
