Sesame Street And Street Fighter Perform An Ultra Combo
Grover already has a superhero alias, so why shouldn't he pick one up as tournament-ready master of Yoga Fire as well? This seems to have been thought process at work for deviantART user Matt Crane who put together a gallery of Street Fighter Muppet and Sesame Street mash-ups that look like nothing you're liable to see in an Udon comic anytime soon
- at least as far as any public announcements that have been made are concerned.
If Capcom, Udon and Sesame Workshop feel like scheduling a meeting at Comic-Con International this year, however, they should wholeheartedly consider inviting Crane, whose deviantART user account is gavacho13. There, he's buffed up Burt and Ernie to Liefeldian proportions as Ryu and Ken, furried up E. Honda as Cookie Monster and scarred up Big Bird to become a master of the Tiger Uppercut.

This is the second time I've stumbled on this recently and I'm kind of bummed out by this. These pieces aren't particularly well rendered, one might even say they are very amateurish. It just goes to show that you don't need artistic skill, just a gimmick, to get attention as an artist. Kind of a bummer if you ask me.

`gimmick' or as some others might say `a creative idea'. I'd rather hire an illustrator whom I knew could think and be interesting, who one would assume would become more `professional' looking with time than someone whose images were slick and well rendered but void of any point (or gimmick). Between skill and creativity one can be taught and the other cant, and its the 2nd one that is more important. (That said, looking at Mr Crane's deviantart gallery, I do actually doubt he'll ever be `huge' in the industry, but he's had one good funny idea and followed through on it to share with the community. So good on him I say. If you think that's a bummer, well, that seams kinda sad).
