Movie Theater Zings Terrence Howard With 'Iron Man 2' Scoreboard
The Neptune Theater in Portland Seattle weighs in on the "Iron Man 2" recasting of Terrance Howard's former role as Jim Rhodes with Don Cheadle. That's cold as ice, Neptune. (But we like it.)

This is fantastic. I think Terrence got a really bad deal with the fact he got knocked out of the role. Especially considering the phenominal job he did in the first movie. He played the role of beautifully of a character that could not only be a straight up military man who incorporates their ideals and yet still be friends with someone like Tony Stark at the end of it all. Good to see someone in the industry had his back...even if it was this far down the line.

Yeah, everybody else is calling this a "zing" *against* Terrence, but I see it as lamenting the fact that he was better in the role.

He didn't get knocked out of the role, he decided that as an Oscar winner, he should not to take less money for pt.2 and in return, they decided he was replaceable.
It happens.
Side Note: I thought he was pretty whiny in the first Iron Man.

Is it just me or did the actor that played War Machine look exactly like Samuel L. Jackson? In fact, didn't he also play Nick Fury? Good golly gosh, what they can do with movies now-a-days!
