As anyone who has ever waded into a message board flame-war knows, comic books can provoke a pretty strong emotional reaction. Whether it's a fist-pump of joy, a groan of disgust, or a phone call to a friend saying they've got to read the new comic, every comic reader's had moments where they've reacted to their books out loud.

Way to keep hating on Kick-Ass, even though it's freakin' awesome! Way to keep hatin' Yeah peeps do like Kick-Ass, and the movie is better than the comic.
Kudos to Mark Millar, Comics Alliances target of the month (just like all hipster, hate on the successful guy)
Don't worry next we'll be able to hate on O'Malley, as soon as he makes $$$ off of his comic

I saw it a week before the SXSW festival at a sneak Preview. THAT's how I know it's good!
AND the only people who don't say hipster anymore ARE hipsters... The same way all hipsters vehemently deny being hipsters...

Amazing. Most of those covers sum up the titles perfectly. The Dark Knight Returns may be one of the best ones though.
