The eagle-eyed David Uzumeri noticed a very different title on a link to the Marvel.com blog of Executive Editor Tom Brevoort today: Vice President. Now, ComicsAlliance has confirmed that not only has Brevoort been promoted to Vice President, Executive Editor, but editor Axel Alonso has also been promoted to Vice President, Executive Editor, and editor Steve Wacker has been promoted to Senior Editor.

"I'm really happy to be working with Marvel right now and am very proud of the books I've been lucky enough to be a part of and the creators I've been able to work with," Wacker told ComicsAlliance. "Knowing what's in store -- both in the books and out of the books -- for the coming year gives me goosebumps. It's a talented crew here. Plus I'm always up for more meetings! Who doesn't love meetings? Oooh... and spreadsheets!
