I'm a pretty big fan of Spider-Men from all over the world. In fact, I dig Japanese Spider-Man just as much as his American counterpart.

Clearly I'm troubled.

Either way, my Spider-Man love levels doubled when I stumbled upon this (frankly inspiring) image of a stuntman leaping from sideways car to sideways car adorned in Spidey garb during a 2006 demonstration in Wuhan, central China's Hubei Province.



After digging around online, I discovered the Hollywood/Czech Republic-based Filmka group does this kind of thing all the time. They're like actual Ghostriders with all the danger and none of the flaming skullosity. They've even been stunting since the 1960s, meaning they've been mocking death for almost a decade longer than the Spirit of Vengeance.

The only bummer is that I wasn't able to track down video of this impressive feat. Still, now that I know this exists, I will expect much more of "Spider-Man 4."
