Yo Vertigo: Resurrect This (ComicsAlliance)

Sep 2nd 9:25 PM: someone asked about flex at the morrison comiccon panel and I don't remember the exact response but maybe it was one of those faces saying "I know something you don't know," either way it seemed as though they were insinuating that flex mentallo would be collected soon (and with this article, it wouldn't be surprising if it were a part of this initiative)

Aug 24th 10:47 AM: but he WOULD use help from the godzillazord thing he calls out of the ocean with the flute... whoever is coming up with spam comments nowadays has a knack for ascii, sure I'll buy your jor dan s-h-o-e-s, as long as it comes with the promise of a secure neigborhood, clouds in the sky, white picket fences on the border.

Hot Ink -- Strange Tales, Incognito, Sweet Tooth, Northlanders (ComicsAlliance)

Sep 3rd 11:36 PM: at the same time, though, dc is owned by warner bros and has the vertigo line which is full of creator owned series that aren't merchandise producers nor are they child friendly(though I realize this isn't really a priority for wb). I get the feeling disney isn't really going to be stepping on marvel's toes about these things, more than worrisome the icon imprint may just be inconsequential to them and go on its way (which is pretty low profile to begin with).

Batman Games -- A Brief History of the Best of the Dark Knight (ComicsAlliance)

Aug 25th 10:40 PM: there's also one based on one of the tim burton movies for snes, I remember playing that s--t at my great grandma's house all the time.

Bryan Singer to Re-Reboot 'Battlestar Galactica' (ComicsAlliance)

Aug 14th 8:42 PM: someone was like "hey who did that amazing superman movie a couple years ago? can we get him to remake battlestar galactica!? I wanna ruin that too!" and bryan said "yes. I believe I can do that."

Does Dead Mean Dead When It Comes to the Direct Market? (ComicsAlliance)

Aug 4th 8:42 PM: I feel like the cost of pamphlets could be reduced and not kill marvel or dc, maybe making the whole comics market a little more accessible to the casual shopper, but I'm one of those guys (and gals) who loves the single issue format. it does suck that they're going out the door, but buying a 20 dollar comic of superheroes seems sort of weird to me, I don't know if I'm ready to buy the next installment of iron fist in a huge chunk, but if that's the only option... maybe in the future having all these comics will be the comics equivalent of having a bunch of old wacky records and people will say we're just nostalgic, to which I probably won't object.

X-Men's 'Necrosha' Event Has Interesting Timing (ComicsAlliance)

Aug 2nd 12:33 PM: to be fair, marvel did "marvel zombies" a couple years back and it was a smash hit. they're just re-cashing in on an idea that dc is also cashing in on at the moment, both of them are taking advantage of robert kirkman and sean phillips :P
