Link Ink: 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' Suit, 'Iron Man 3' Posters And A Giant Paper Gundam

At first, I liked the new, altered Spider-Man suit for Amazing Spider-man as I felt that other Superhero movies had their costumes altered for their movie adaptation, why not Spidey. And it looked really cool. But seeing the photos of the new costume in the next movie, and how classic it looks, made me realise how much I missed the original design from the Maguire movies. Good to have it back with the big eyes.

Sheesh, that's not a true way to make a sword; it's not a bad way, but actual sword making requires more firing/forging/tempering...and yes, I am considering modern machines in the process.

Heck, my Dad made some swords in almost the same way (but no oven firing; basically like this guy taking a piece/block of cut steel and milling it down). I've even considered doing it myself (I know the basics of a machine shop and have made some stuff in my youth). I am kinda astounded, but should not be surprised, that these kinda "official" props are sold to studios and collectors. (I guess I shouldn't be, but I never thought about it. I mean, most old props, when viewed close up, are basically "junk" and are meant for short-term filming and not to be seen in detail). I am not dissing the work, it's just *I* coulda gotten into that if things in my life had been different and I never considered it; it woulda been something I would enjoy (among many other creative hobbies).

If Mark Webb had any saying over Spiderman I think he completely lost it in between movies. That suit looks so much like the ones with Tobey that when I first saw it I was convinced it was fan art. Too bad, I tought that the departure from classic Spidey was a great move and if there was comparition before people won't leave it alone now

Now Tony Swatton just needs to forge a sword out of demon blood.

So it's the same suit from the first three movies, but with bigger eyes? Aight.

I really like the eyes on the new Spider-Man costume. The transition from the smaller eyes of the first movie mirrors the evolution of the eyes in the comics.
