February 12 2013 at 6:01 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI don't know if Lemire is continuing on ANIMAL MAN or not (I don't read Previews), but with him on that, GREEN ARROW, JLD, and CONSTANTINE... that seems to be an awful over-extension already not to mention this title.
I wouldn't mind Keith Giffen, but who I'd really love to see on a GL comic is Jim Starlin. I know it'll never happen, but talk about someone who knows cosmic s**t.
Or get back Brubaker and Rucka and do an OA CENTRAL book?
Brandon Graham and Tom Fowler

But any editorial complaints you have should be placed squarely at the feet of their current Editor in Chief, and New52 Orchestrator, Bob Harris.

Hey, Marvel 1995-2000? Wonder what the date on Marvel going bankrupt was?
Guess it really is all about who you know...
DC has to be very careful here, this is a revived property only handled by Johns, so the selection has to be right. Which means DC will **** it up! **** it up! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! I think I smell some declining sales.... Geoff Johns is needed on the frontline line to fix Hawkman, it must suck to have your primary job be running from title to title fixing Didio's editorial decisions. There are not many writers who can pull of GL it's going to be fun watching DC flounder to get this right. Great jumping off point GL fans, plus do really want to read another Johns, Guardians are bad yet another intergalactic space war storyline, there is always another army, another thing trapped in a battery, another rainbow ring bearer, oh yeah and the Black Hand, again. Tiresome.

I don't know about Marvel and DC having non-compete clauses in their contracts, although it might make sense. Obviously IDW, Thrillbent and Dynamite don't pose any sort of threat to the Big Two.
Maybe Robert Venditti will be the new GL writer with the help of Justin Jordan for good measure. I doubt that Demon Knights will survive more than a couple of months more and Jordan just got 2 books cancelled and only 1 new assignment.
Jim Zub is also a good alternative after the BoP incident
Terry Kavanagh, Tom de Falco and Bob Harras?
Maybe DiDio will write a Red Lantern spin-off with Dex-Starr
Am I the only one that thought "Green Arrow/Green Lantern" upon seeing Lemire's name listed here? It could be cool, even if it were just for one issue of "Green Arrow" with Andrea Sorrentino on art duties.
