I think Iron Man has one of the most straight forward, well-defined setups in Comics. Dude got captured, built himself a robot suit. BAM paycheque. Lets not bring childhood **** and ~predestination~ or some experiments his dad did on him into the picture please.

Arms are all wrong, but the legs (position and shape of both) and the diaper, as well as the arch of the back and chubbiness of all the components are nearly identical.
I really think he traced this and changed the arms and the other obvious changes.
To be honest, I think it's a really cool picture he drew. But the similarities here seem more than coincidental given his history.
