Promo Photos Reveal A Scarred Firefly On Upcoming Episode of 'Arrow'

Alright I'm all for the "Realism" aspect and all that but c'mon putting a guy in a fire/bomb suit just isnt doing the character of Firefly justice and I'm not even a HUGE fan of the villain. I remember the guy in the animated series had wings a jet pack, bug eyes on his helmet and had a very slick costume. Your telling me they couldnt create a black leather costume for this guy and a helmet to look like the animated one (maybe with a breathing apparatus worked in for the realism?) then slap on some "fire bombs" on him and be done with it? Yeah this seems to be going the route of Smallville already.

Aside from the burns I'm pretty sure there was a villain on Criminal Minds with like, that exact look and gimmick.
