No but in all seriousness this already looks like the best one in the series.

Shane Black and RDJ have such a good rhythm going together as evidenced by the killer KISS KISS BANG BANG that I don't think that the funny and free-wheeling Tony will be absent, but he's learned a bit about stepping up. He's a changed hero as far as his interaction with The Avengers are concerned, but each of the characters will have an issue or two to deal with post-New York. The weird thing is I didn't think that was Kingsley's voice in the trailer; it sounded more like Pearce's. Either way, this trailer is too good for words.

Why in all tthird parts in recent superhero movies it has to be about the misery of the protagonist, how he is pushed to the ground and buildings are destroyed? There can be happy things while destroying!

It looks good, but I'm a little worried that it's trying too hard to be like Nolan's "Dark Knight" films with the serious tone. Even though I know that this film needed a different "feel" to separate it from the other installments (and I know that Tony Stark has been through some dark moments in the comics), I'm concerned that it will take too much away from the humorous and fun RDJ personality that made the films great in the first place (or at least the first one...).

so i know studio licenses and all that rubbish makes it meaningless, but is that an FF i see on the iron patiot looking war machine?

This doesn't excite me very much, but hey, at least they don't have Greg Land on special effects.

but the trailer itself looks classy as all hell. i did not like the 2 but this one looks promising

Making the Mandarin a white guy is a brilliant move. When the movie plays in China, they can totally put in the subtitles whatever the hell name they like and be in the clear from their notorious censorship. Instead of "Ironman comes to China, defeats local supervillain" it's "Ironman comes to China, defeats sweaty, bearded Ben Kingsley, saves China".

Brilliant.
