F YOU! Ben You EPITOMIZE the negativity that really tears this society up. He does a thoughtful act, and your instinct is to sew dissent. He was never charged with any assault, most likely because it never happened. It was assault in that he Cussed at his Mother and sister... so NO he probably didn't visit them in the hospital after... you're a true jerk...
Sorry, I shouldn't have said F you... what I meant to say is, He was ALLEGED to have assaulted his mother (which turned out to be yelling and cussing) that is hardly assault. Despite his anger management issues, this is an incredibly kind and thoughtful gesture on Bale's part. Your instant tearing it down is indicative of the problem in our society today...
It would be an incredibly classy move (not to mention great PR) if DC took one out the Wayne Foundation playbook and set up a fund for the Aurora victims.
Feel free to trash whomever's lights you wish mr Bale. You earned it. Visiting the victims is a classy move. Those people have been through hell in the last week and I'm sure you made it better for at least a few of them by expressing your concern personally.
Next up, lets get Caleb Medley's medical costs paid for.
Bale is British, so he's likely to be appalled by his first up-close encounter with the US healthcare system, and things like Caleb Medley's plight. I don't know his politics, but he may come out of this turning into a bit of an activist!
