Same a-holes were at this years' Anime Expo. They were protesting some small corridor with a few cosplayers coming from a parking structure. It's pretty sad they've brainwashed their children to stand outside in the hot sun for hours. You can really tell by their young, bored, monotonous faces that they truly believe in what they say. PRAISE JEEE-SUS!

Okay, that person was me, but dang, the real thing is even DUMBER than I wrote it.
The message I got from these Christian jerks at SDCC is "Somebody is having fun. Time to protest." And despite what some peole are saying on this forum, NO, these jerk's actually were being inflamitory. They were screaming at people waiting in line to get into Hall H. They hassled anyone trying to enter the Zombie Event at Petco Park. And they were wandering the Gaslamp at night chanting, "Fags burn in hell." They only played nice at the doors of SDCC because otherwise cops would've dragged them off.

They had huge signs, pamphlets and loudspeakers. The whole nine. I don't mind them spreading the Word. Shoot, being a Catholic myself, I need to do a little more of that myself. But I know it just comes off rude and it can be a huge mood killer. Cons are a gathering of all kinds of people and faiths. As a Christian, just because we are there embracing our geekdom doesn't mean we are denying and turning away from Christ. Far from it. A lot of us praise the Lord for the blessing of comics and super heroes. Case in point, my first Con ever was Wonder-Con 2011 back when it was at SF. I went to the Green Lantern movie panel and sat next to a heavy-set fellow decked out in GL clothing. Huge Lantern fan from what I saw. Every 15 minutes he was doing the Sign of the Cross and praising God for the opportunity to be there and to be able to experience something like this. I just don't like how they are judging us. Claiming we are luke warm Christians, claiming that because we show up to these things we are turning away from the Kingdom of God. God gave life free-will. He gave us the option to believe in Him. He doesn't force us. Though some take the job themselves to do that. It can be quite bothersome. Look just as we have the freedom to show up to these Cons, they have the same freedom to demonstrate their faith. I just hate how they judge, when only God can judge.

It looks more like you have comics alliance giving a pat on the back to people for mocking Christians.
We're these guys yelling anti-gay slurs or just preaching typical Jesus saves sermons
I wouldn’t call this post anti-christian, but some of these commenters have a point. WBC is only called a church because the government can’t pick and choose what churches are legitimate and what churches are cults. Otherwise you could end up with a situation like Falun Gong in China.
It’s like when hate groups in the late eighties started calling themselves churches so that they could get the protection of the establishment clause under the first amendment. If these people want to call themselves a church, there’s nothing you can do about it, but they are clearly not motivated by a love of god.
That's rather presumptuous and bigoted to presume that their motivations aren't due to genuine belief. They believe they're doing what their God wants them to do.
