Comic-Con Cosplay: 'Back to the Future's' Marty McFly [SDCC 2012]

Thanks for the comments guys. Technically I was portraying Marty from BTTF 1, so I shouldn't have had the hoverboard (or needed AirMags) but I thought the board would make the cosplay more recognizable and fun for fans. Even if I were doing the BTTF 2 Marty, those shoes are thousands of dollars or a few hundred even for replicas - not sure I'd want to waste the money to have them destroyed at the con.

@Kidflashyx just because he doesn't have the shoes on, does not mean he doesn't own a pair nor does it give your the right to assume he doesn't have the financial means to get them. Furthermore, I personally would not wear Mags to a place like SDCC where daily costume repairs are common place.

Great work but looks like he didn't have scratch to shell out for the Air Mags when they released in the Winter
