Hot Toys has been responding to this summer's flurry of superhero films (namely, The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises) with something bordering on super speed -- or perhaps just the proportionate speed of a spider? Just in time for the July 3 release of The Amazing Spider-Man movie, Hot Toys has released a slew of images of its ASM 1/6 scale limited edition collectible figurine. So far accessories seem to include spare hands, an unmasked Peter Parker noggin and a variety of webs for the slinging. For the time being it looks like Peter Parker's face has been blurred (perhaps because HT hasn't gotten final approval on its sculpt of star Andrew Garfield's mug, although they've proven startlingly adept at likeness, of course). Concrete pricing info hasn't surfaced yet, but considering HT's Spider-Man 3 figures fetched about $200 a pop, it's safe to assume a similar price point this time around.
