Link Ink: 'The Dark Knight Trilogy' Book, Earth's Mightiest Cancelation and Man of Merchandising

That Avengers:EMH cancellation news was terrible, even if its been known for a while that Jeph Loeb wanted it cancelled since it started before he took over at Marvel TV. It's a real shame, 'cos it's the best animated superhero series I've watched in a while. It's kid-friendly while still keeping quality storylines and decent animation.
While I understand wanting to capitalise on the Avengers movie's success with an animated series based roughly on those versions of the characters, this series did a great job of working with the comics and making the series popular and watchable, as JLU did a while back. It's a shame that shows like this, Spectacular Spider-man and Wolverine & the X-Men have been cancelled early. I'll give this new show a shot, just like I'm watching Ultimate Spider-man, but I have my doubts about whether either of them would be better than their predecessors.

Well, that news about Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes being cancelled sucks.

It's the most comic-faithful series Marvel have put out since the 90's heyday of X-Men and Spider-man and was crammed full of B and C list characters from Marvel's past. In fact it's the closest Marvel have come to matching DC/WB's Justice League Unlimited.

I have a nasty feeling that this new series will be based off the movie-verse instead.

So no more MODOK or Beta-Ray Bill I guess...
