That Grantland article about Stan Lee is great. Nothing comics fans don't already know, but it's good to see it laid out so eloquently. Actual good journalism about comics from the mainstream! What a concept!
Yeah, and it's extremely fair and even-handed. On the whole it's a kind and sympathetic portrayal of Stan that doesn't shy away from the legitimate criticisms and controversies.
Mark Evanier says it does a great job of capturing both sides of Stan, and I'd say his opinion is a pretty well-informed one.
