Activision had announced that players who preorder the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man from Amazon will get access to a special series of missions starring Lee who, armed with Spidey's web-crawling abilities and his own wise-cracking ways, has to save New York City from certain danger. As if the chance to play an 89-year old man swinging his way around the metropolitan skyline isn't enough, the company is also promising a surprise ending at the end of the arc which Kotaku believes may have something to do with Spidey's 50th anniversary this year.

In case you want to pre-order the game but avoid any confusion over whether or not you're the man who is partially responsible for She-Hulk, GameStop has its own pre-order bonus: Rhino Challenge, which lets players rampage across the city as Spidey's popular thick-skinned nemesis. If only there was some way to mix the two together and get a Stan Lee/Rhino showdown going...
