Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, the Hulk and Hawkeye... if that list of Avengers seems somewhat lacking to you, perhaps it's because it's missing talk show host and internationally-renowned dancer, Ellen DeGeneres! But not to worry, she can at least have her own Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. action figure, as unveiled by Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson on her show yesterday.



Promoting the release of The Avengers, the film's Iron Man and Black Widow made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, gifting a specially-created action figure to DeGeneres who... well, she didn't exactly seem overjoyed with it, to say the least, making fun of the sagging breasts and joking that it looked more like Jane Lynch than her. Even Downey Jr. pointing out the figure's "Awesome Dancing Power!" didn't seem to make much impression. Clearly, Ellen is a tougher audience than she first appears. Perhaps that's the real reason she was cut from The Avengers?

(That said, nice West Coast Avengers t-shirt, Mr. Downey. Jr...!)
