The previously-hidden secret of Dushku's involvement with the show was spilled by guest-star Adrian Pasdar, who'll be voicing Iron Man during a guest appearance in the series. Seemingly unaware of how bad it sounded, Pasdar revealed that Dushku -- who burned her way into the hearts and libidos of fans as the troubled Faith in Buffy The Vampire Slayer before appearing in such series as Angel, Dollhouse and Torchwood -- was not only voicing She-Hulk in the series, but also prettied up the recording booth while doing so:
That Eliza Dushku, she sure is purty apparently. The funny thing is if people were to actually visit these animation rooms and see the guys and the girls that are doing it, with the exception of Eliza, who's a stunning beauty, the rest of us, we don't look quite as good as the animation characters they draw for us. It's really quite funny. You see these middle aged guys having fun, playing these younger whippersnappers. It's quite amusing to look around the room.
Dushku is no stranger to taking on iconic roles in voice form; last year, she provided the voice for Catwoman in the animated adaptation of Frank Miller's Batman: Year One, reprising the character in the DC Showcase: Catwoman short that accompanied the movie on DVD.
Neither Disney XD nor Marvel have confirmed the casting news, and Hulk and The Agents of S.M.A.S.H. is still unscheduled by the cable channel at this time.
