What is up with Olivia's head in panel 1? That's just offputting.
But I read the first book and it seemed pretty good. We have Powers for all the "kids saying hilarious bad words" action we want, and this for a book you could give to a kid. Also sweet in all ages: Gladstone School for World Conquerers.
Too bad this promo sucks. It doesn't convince me that the writing will be clever enough to carry these lame characters. The art isn't hideous.

March 16 2012 at 6:30 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyIt's probably the fact that they make no money working on the graphic novel until it's out. Now, they can make a profit before that, and still release it as a hardcover. I was disappointed too, because I loved the hardcover format, but this doesn't really change anything, except that we'll probably get more Takio now than before.
