The Los Angeles Times
has released the list of nominees
for its prestigious assortment of book prizes, including the finalists in the graphic novel category. Last year's winner was Adam Hines' Duncan the Wonder Dog: Show One
, which was also ComicsAlliance's pick for best comic book of 2010
. This year's nominees include Dave McKean's Celluloid
, Carla Speed McNeil's Finder: Voice
, and Yuichi Yokoyama's Garden
, all of which have been spotlighted here on CA. Given the crossover in taste, it's fitting that CA Editor in Chief Laura Hudson is among the judges for this year's graphic novel prize.
The full list of nominees can be read after the cut.
